About Esmée
My Story
I am a Certified Transaction Analyst (UKCP, EATA and IARTA registered psychotherapist) now living in the UK and still very much linked to Luxembourg.

I am aware that life can be complex and overwhelming in this ‘global village’ we live in and how important it is to have someone to talk to.

I have worked in the corporate sector for 25 years and lived in 5 countries outside my country of birth. From 2005 to 2006 I studied therapeutic counselling to support my voluntary work with refugees and the underprivileged in Amsterdam and Brussels. I subsequently started the MSc programme in Relational Transactional Analysis psychotherapy in 2013 at Metanoia Institute in London and qualified as a UKCP and an EATA registered psychotherapist in 2018. I have completed the EMDR Training approved by EMDR International Association and EMDR Europe Association.

I am passionate about accompanying my clients in their respective journeys to recovery. The focus of my work with each client is to develop a supportive relationship so that they can better understand the difficulties they are experiencing through a relational therapeutic lens. Together, we explore bringing about changes which can enhance the individual’s life and sense of self. In this process, the identity of the individual in its unique facets is recognised and welcomed.
The initial sessions are dedicated to the exploration of issues that the client is currently facing and feeling challenged by. This could lead to an agreement to work for a short period of time looking at specific issues or for a longer period to address how earlier life experiences continue to affect the person.

The therapy sessions can be in English or French.
